attach to a drill, lightly touch the blade, and sharpen in seconds. If it feels difficult, it’s usually speed control, pressure, blade choice, or an unstable setup.
Quick “reset” setup:
- Use the right drill settings: Use a drill with variable speed. Start at the lowest speed and stay around 1200 RPM.
- Use light pressure: You shouldn't use force. Light contact is enough, let the grinding head do the work.
- Use the right pass count: Do 2 passes for a coarse tooth profile (wood/drywall/plastic). Do 3 passes for a finer tooth profile (light metal).
- Avoid overheating: Sharpen max 1 blade per minute and allow cooldown.
